I was inspired by the idea of no longer understanding a lover you’re on lockdown with— the close proximity actually driving a wedge between a couple. What does that sound like? It’s chaotic. It’s dramatic and frantic. It’s a little deluded— you dance around for a little to pretend like everything’s not falling apart, or even to just exercise the heartbreak out of ya!

But while the last couple years have had me grappling with the weight of adulthood, I’ve been yearning for the sounds and excitement of my childhood. Y2K production is all over this track to help dance away the woes of being a 2022 adult
